  1. As one of the first presentations, I applaud the creativity and thought you put into your promotional poster reflected well into your presentation. The heaven/hell and good/evil colored crossroads within a mysterious background of black and white gave a polarizing sense to your project, even before you started your presentation. During your presentation, you mentioned how Golding based most of his writing on experiences; however, I think I might have missed that connection with the books that you read, especially with The Inheritors.

After watching all the presentations, I think your activity was one of the most helpful ones, as it pertains to the AP exam. Your incorporation of transitive and intransistive clauses that naturally separate the Neanderthals and Homo sapiens presented insight to Golding’s style while also giving the audience an opportunity to explore the differences within his writing. I loved your comment about how the Homo sapiens used direct objects in showing their more industrialized and developed society while the Neanderthals did not use direct objects, shedding light on their more undeveloped nature. Golding’s purposeful inclusion of this separation is both brilliant and enlightening; he captures the nature culture of language in accordance to the progress of mankind. Thank you for remembering to connect every point you made back to your theme of good and evil; this made your information both credible and coherent.
